Corporate Lobbying In FRONA
by Russell D. Longcore
Welcome to the mythical land of liberty, the Free Republic of North America…or affectionately called FRONA.
FRONA’s national symbol is the porcupine named “Porky.” He symbolizes the independent nature of the nation, and that if you leave FRONA alone, you’ll be fine. But if you mess with us, you’ll get hurt.
Porky’s image is on the gold and silver money of FRONA.
No Corporate Lobbying In FRONA
But today, our subject is corporate lobbying. The graphic below capsulizes the tension in America over lobbying.
There will be NO lobbying in FRONA. That’s primarily because in FRONA there are no government perks. The Charter defines the government and there is no legislature. FRONA’s government is a hybrid corporation itself. Every citizen gets to vote on issues brought before the Board of Directors. So lobbyists would have to try to influence millions, not just a select few.
The representative republic of the USA may have been an improvement upon King George’s monarchy, but the US Constitution was written on purpose to create a strong central government. Not so in FRONA.
