Happy 2013!

I’m having enormous fun creating the perfect seceded state-cum-nation, The Free Republic Of North America. “FRONA” is the acronym for the name. FRONA is the global bastion of individual libery and property rights, hard money, a new form of governance, complete banking reinvention (not merely reform), no central bank, a dearth of regulations and a single source of taxation, the national sales tax.

A couple weeks back, I was having a conversation with a TV producer who had read my articles about FRONA. She said, “I’m ready to move there!” My joy came from the fact that this producer is a young woman located in a major metropolitan area and in the media. It gives me enormous satisfaction to know that a person who would normally be perceived as “not a fan of secession” wants to move to FRONA.

So moving FRONA forward I have designed the first official FRONA coins. Remember in FRONA money…it’s ALL about the WEIGHT. No dollars etc.

Notice that there is no value on the coins such as “One Dollar,” “Five Dollars,” or Twenty Dollars.” By stamping a value on any coin, the Government artificially establishes a value that has no relationship to the weight of precious metal in the coin, nor does it allow for any fluctuation in value. In FRONA, the free market determines the value of the WEIGHT of the coin. And these coins can be minted by any private mint or by the FRONA national mint, which would be a subsidiary of the national Department of Treasury.

Here is the obverse and reverse of the one ounce pure silver FRONA coin.

This is the weight of silver that buys one share of FRONA common stock and makes one eligible to be a citizen in the Free Republic Of North America.

Gold FRONAs will be used for larger transactions since their value is so much higher than silver FRONAs. However, there will also be half-ounce, quarter-ounce, tenth-ounce and twentieth-ounce variations, same obverse and reverse except for the weight.

How do you like FRONA money?

Secession is the only solution for individual history and property rights on the North American continent.

About RussLongcore

I am an old-school entrepreneur blazing trails in the new Internet marketing world. I have a marketing company named Masterpiece Energy LLC. I focus exclusively on products and services that people cannot live without, namely electricity, natural gas and mobile phone service. That makes my business recession proof. We use the network marketing business model, so I am in a constant nationwide talent search for other entrepreneurs that would also like a recession-proof business. I hope you will take the time to at least LOOK at our business. And in my spare time, I write here at DumpDC.com about secession issues while I invent a new nation, the Mythical Free Republic Of North America (FRONA).

Can you mint the coins at a reasonable price? You can already buy generic rounds from many dealers. Unless you can mint them for a similar cost, nobody will use them.

    • RussLongcore says:

In the Free Republic, there is no BUYING coins. Because the FRONA is the money. What you have asked is like asking how to buy a dollar bill. Now if your question is about how many Federal Reserve Notes it would take to buy FRONA coins today, I have no idea. I am not minting coins. But if I was, I would guess that the price of the FRONA coins would be about 20% above spot gold/silver price. For example spot price for silver today is $30.49 at close. So the retail price would be $36.99. But that is a wild-assed guess. Thanks, Russ

Note the fineness printed on the coin .999

It’s been a standard for many coins – US, Canada, Krugerrand, etc., but recently the US mint has decreased the fineness a little to .997 or thereabouts.

Any discussion about the US federal government needs to address the dilution of its value politically culturally and economically. Is government cheating some sort of new American standard (or is it established policy)?

it’s just me, hollering from the choir loft…

Out-freakin’-standing idea sir, though the little mascot underwhelms me. Perhaps something a little more, well, majestic to go with the whole new set-up?

    • RussLongcore says:

Mr. Dee Jay: Consider the porcupine…A beast that minds it own business all the time. Does not raid the nests of other beasts. However, it is covered with quills. If an enemy tries to attack the porcupine, the enemy finds himself covered in painful quills. The porcupine does not attack, but his defenses are formidable. As long as you not f**k with the porcupine, everybody is happy. Seems to me that Porky, the mascot for DumpDC, is the PERFECT national symbol for FRONA. I do not wish to exhibit a bunch of ego and hubris with the creation of FRONA. We want to create a safe place in an unsafe world. Thanks, Russ
